About

An editorial water filter site, not a storefront.

Water Filter Guide exists to help people buy the right filtration system for their actual water, with less marketing fog and more verifiable claims.

What we publish

We publish water filter buying guides, brand profiles, filter-type comparisons, certification explainers, and tools that help turn a water report into a practical shortlist.

Why this exists

Most water filter pages start from a product catalog. We start from the contaminant. That means a pitcher, under-sink carbon filter, reverse-osmosis system, or whole-house system can all be the right answer depending on the water.

How we think

We prefer model-level certification data, official performance sheets, recognized third-party databases, replacement-cost math, and clear installation constraints over vague claims like pure, detox, or clean.

What we are not

We are not a lab, plumber, doctor, or local health authority. Use this site to ask better questions and avoid obvious buying mistakes, then verify the final decision against your water report and the exact product documentation.
